Moving Tips
You can prepare your turntables for packing and moving with a few, simple steps. Many turntables come with a lock for the tone arm, but there have been cases where the lock hasn't held. You can keep it in place by tying a piece of string or twine around the arm. As for the platter, where you would place your vinyl, you can tighten the screws located on top of the turntable to secure it.
To wrap large or asymmetrical items, simply place it in the center of the bubble wrap or tissue and bring the corners together. If the protective material you're using doesn’t cover the entire item, simply turn it over and repeat the process on the other side. Once the corners are together, use tape to secure them in place.
You can wrap long-handled tools such as rakes, brooms, and mops together for transport. Tie them together with a piece of rope and bundle them with some tarp or in a pad.
People relocate for different reasons. Some move for family, others go for change, many leave for work. Whatever your motivations are, moving can cause acute anxiety and frustration if you don't properly plan out your steps.
